Where To Eat in San Juan: 3 Beachfront Restaurants You’ll Love

Hungry for ocean views? These San Juan beachfront restaurants serve up island flavors with a side of sunshine and a hint of salty breeze.

Puerto Rico already boasts incredible food, but what’s better than indulging in delicious Puerto Rican cuisine while enjoying the view and sound of the ocean? It’s the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Old San Juan.

If you’re a water baby like me, you’re always looking for an excuse to be near the sea. And what better way to do that than dining at a beachfront restaurant in San Juan? Here are 3 amazing spots you’ll want to bookmark for your San Juan trip.

3 beachfont restaurants

01.

Social at Condado Ocean Club

02.

Wicked Lily at Tryst Hotel

03.

La Sirena Oceanfront at Courtyard Isla Verde

1. Social

Location: 1045 Ashford Ave, San Juan, Puerto Rico, 00907

For a chic beach brunch with a side of luxury.
This upscale favorite sits right on Condado Beach and gives everything you want from a stylish oceanside restaurant: palm trees, ocean breeze, view of Condado Ocean Club and a menu that slaps. I had the chicken and waffles with fresh fruit, and let’s just say it lives rent-free in my mind and handsdown my favorite restaurant during our trip. The girlies and I went there for brunch, and let me tell you, everything we had was amazing.

Tip: Book a table on the terrace and catch that golden hour glow.

The vibe is effortlessly modern (designed by Puerto Rican style icon Nono Maldonado), and the cocktails? Top-tier. Think fresh tropical fruits, local ingredients, and mixologists who know how to set the mood. Go for brunch, lunch, or tapas at sunset—you can’t go wrong. Social is not just chic—it’s a beachfront gem where you can enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, tapas, or even a weekend brunch with a stunning ocean view and a refreshing sea breeze.

2. wicked lily

Location: 1 Vendig Street, San Juan

Where Laid-back meets lit.
Wicked Lily is that friend who knows how to chill and party. It’s casual but colorful, stylish, and right on the beach—the kind of place where one drink turns into four (in the best way). The music’s always on point, the cocktails are creative, and the fish tacos are a must. Located inside the Tryst Beachfront Hotel, Wicked Lily is perfect for a group of friends who want to turn up a little by the beach with a DJ, some dancing, and bomb food.

And yes! The DJ at Wicked Lily does take requests! 😉

There’s a reason this spot stays poppin’—and it’s like that all day long, whether you’re there for breakfast, brunch, or dinner. The beach is literally steps away, the restaurant is super colorful (fellow pink girlies, this is your spot!), and for those who love taking pics, it’s full of great photo ops—both inside and right by the water.

3. La Sirena Oceanfront at Courtyard Isla Verde

Location: 7012 Boca de Cangrejos Ave, Carolina

Authentic Puerto Rican food with postcard views.
If you’re craving Puerto Rican dishes and oceanfront bliss, this is another great choice. Located inside the Courtyard by Marriott in Isla Verde, La Sirena delivers classics like mofongo, grilled mahi, and crispy tostones—aka Puerto Rican comfort food island-style.

Note: You don’t have to be a hotel guest to enjoy dining here.

The views? Unreal. Stretches of palm trees right next to the ocean with an amazing view of the city and building. You can watch the waves roll in while you sip a cold drink from the open-air bar (which stays open ’til 11pm!). Perfect for romantic date nights, family dinners, or a breezy breakfast before hitting the beach.

Now that you know where to find the best beachfront restaurants in San Juan, it’s time to treat yourself to a refreshing piña colada. Head over to Barrachina: The Birthplace of the Piña Colada—and enjoy this classic cocktail where it all began!
